Prader-Willi Syndrome

Triangle Cross Ranch accepts adults with a primary diagnosis of Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).  We currently have a single home that is designed to meet the specific needs of these individuals.  Due to these unique needs, the application procedure is slightly different that the standard application for other prospective Ranchers. You can find our PWS policies and the application packet on our forms page.  Such applicants are eligible for placement only in a PWS specific home.

PWS adults are afforded a high level of personal freedom at the Ranch.  However, as with all freedom, there are expectations and responsibilities attached.  While we have taken steps to ensure the safety and security of our PWS Ranchers, our property does not constitute a secured unit and our alarm systems do not prevent elopement.  PWS Ranchers are expected to complete chores and function as a member of the Ranch community. They are expected to respect the authority of the staff members, the rules and the policies of the Ranch.  Individuals seeking residence here at the Ranch must be willing and able to function as a part of the Ranch as a whole, participate in Ranch programs and activities, adopt the outdoor agricultural life style, and adhere to the Ranch rules and the PWS house rules.  Triangle Cross Ranch is pleased to provide freedom, a healthy life style and security for those who qualify. Unfortunately, not all PWS applicants will qualify for life at the Ranch.

Triangle Cross Ranch ascribes to the dietary guidelines of PWSAUSA.  We do  not stray from these guidelines, unless specifically directed on behalf of an individual Rancher by a physician or other health professional.
